New Dumpling Eater all the way from South Africa!!

We recently were contacted if there was any interest in acquiring a couple of Black Forest clocks. The one clock was a very nice trumpeter / blower, the other was a dumpling eater manufactured by the very famous Winterhalder & Hofmeier. The difference in this dumpling eater to the few that are still in existence is that it has both, an eight day movement and that the dumpling eater is actuated by the clock movement rater than manually. It was packed in a wooden case for the trip all the way from the very tip of South Africa!

The clock movement is extremely quiet running, and with just minor adjustment to the pendulum it is keeping perfect time!
