I just made another deal on this early wood gear clock with a glass bell

The two recent purchases are from the same gentleman who was selling a few clocks out of his collection.

He was once a clock dealer at the Furthwangen and Eisenbach clock fairs. He no longer attends the shows but was selling a few choice clocks out of his personal collection.

I was lucky enough to be able to purchase these to very rare clocks to add them to my collection of early rope drive clocks.
