This is a very early cuckoo clock in which the painting is done on a tin sheet rather than the newer reverse painting on glass that is prone to peeling . The clock has a wood-plate movement with a fully articulated cuckoo bird. The cuckoo door is camouflaged which can be found up in the leaves of the tree.
